Beta: Imunify360 version 4.9.2 released

We’re pleased to announce that a new beta version of Imunify360 is now available. This new Imunify360 v.4.9.2 beta release includes the following changes.

Fixes

  • Improved runtime-scan exclude list (DEF-12822)
  • Fixed issue with incorrect ModSecurity ruleset for Nginx on DirectAdmin (DEF-12651)
  • Clean-up performance improvement (DEF-12749)
  • Better CAPTCHA keys validation in WebShield (DEF-12783)
  • Handling of "too many open files" error. Related to DEF-12789 (DEF-12823)
  • Enhanced deobfuscator. Now it is able to handle malware similar to:

Internal records

  • DEF-12689 - WebShield does not process IPv6 /64 networks (relates to DEF-12644)
  • DEF-12767 - Fix for malware_user_infected table IntegrityError
  • DEF-12799 - Fix for imunify360-php-daemon: “WaitGroup” is reused before previous “Wait” has returned

How to install

To install the new Imunify360 beta v.4.9.2, please follow the instructions in the documentation.

How to upgrade

To upgrade Imunify360 on CentOS/CloudLinux systems, run the command:

yum update imunify360-firewall --enablerepo=imunify360-testing

To upgrade Imunify360 on Ubuntu 16.04, run the following command:

echo 'deb https://repo.imunify360.cloudlinux.com/imunify360/ubuntu-testing/16.04/ xenial main'  > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/imunify360-testing.list
apt-get update
apt-get install --only-upgrade imunify360-firewall

To upgrade Imunify360 on Ubuntu 18.04, run the following command:

echo 'deb https://repo.imunify360.cloudlinux.com/imunify360/ubuntu-testing/18.04/ bionic main'  > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/imunify360-testing.list
apt-get update
apt-get install --only-upgrade imunify360-firewall
