Beta: ImunifyAV(+) version 4.9.2 updated

We’re pleased to announce that a new beta version of ImunifyAV(+) is now available. This new ImunifyAV(+) v.4.9.2 beta release includes several improvements and bug fixes.

Fixes

  • Improved runtime-scan exclude list (DEF-12822)
  • Clean-up performance improvement (DEF-12749)
  • Enhanced deobfuscator. Now it is able to handle malwares similar to:
    • 1848f147c179962d9626b8934f7d7503c74722adcaac4543eee952a406285390 (DEF-12636)
    • 9575b0ddf36a146bec7d1e910f4aad05c61493df82eb0c3ef0bc17740516dfde (DEF-12663)
    • F4d3270906909dcf30c0f2394c8500bb654eca56918dbe8140d2a3223287f8de (DEF-12716)
    • 8ba86b71b3f3a66530fa8f99e9f27b872eb6377e27600bc4e183a03e2f9e6376 (DEF-12716)

How to install

To install the new ImunifyAV(+) beta v.4.9.2, follow the instructions in the documentation.

How to upgrade

To upgrade ImunifyAV(+) on CentOS/CloudLinux systems, run the command:

yum update imunify-antivirus --enablerepo=imunify360-testing

To upgrade Imunify360 on Ubuntu 16.04, run the following command:

echo 'deb https://repo.imunify360.cloudlinux.com/imunify360/ubuntu-testing/16.04/ xenial main'  > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/imunify360-testing.list
apt-get update
apt-get install --only-upgrade imunify-antivirus

To upgrade Imunify360 on Ubuntu 18.04, run the following command:

echo 'deb https://repo.imunify360.cloudlinux.com/imunify360/ubuntu-testing/18.04/ bionic main'  > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/imunify360-testing.list
apt-get update
apt-get install --only-upgrade imunify-antivirus
