Impacted by the ConfigServer EOL?

Full IPv6 Support for the Entire Imunify Security Suite is Now Live

New Feature

We have some extremely exciting news! The entire Imunify security suite, along with the CloudLinux Network (CLN), now includes full support for IPv6. This update ensures you can enjoy modern server infrastructure without limitations. And it’s all come about thanks to feedback from you: our customers.

Why Does This Matter?

The transition to IPv6 is critical for the continued growth of the internet, and now your server security can continue to grow with it. This update provides key advantages for all your new server deployments. It;

  • Offers more competitive solutions: This update allows you to provide cost-effective, IPv6-only solutions to your customers, secured by Imunify. By reducing your dependence on scarce and expensive IPv4 addresses, you can directly improve your bottom line.
  • Secures the next generation of servers: You can now deploy Imunify on modern, IPv6-only servers, ensuring your entire infrastructure is protected, regardless of the IP standard it uses.
  • Meets enterprise and government compliance needs: As more and more organizations mandate IPv6 compatibility, you can be confident that your security arrangements continue to meet the requirements of a broader range of clients.

How Does It Work?

For all key-based licenses, our systems now automatically detect and register IPv6 addresses. If a server is configured with both IPv4 and IPv6, the IPv6 address will now appear by default in your CLN portal.

If you use IP-based licenses, the license creation field in the CLN portal now accepts both IPv4 and IPv6 address formats.

For customers who automate their workflows, the CLN API now fully supports IPv6 for all relevant operations.

Is Any Action Needed for Existing Servers?

This update is fully backward compatible. No action is required for your existing servers, and your current security operations will not be affected.

Our focus with this release is to provide you with the flexibility to secure the next generation of server infrastructure.
