Release Notes: ImunifyAV(+) v.5.9

AV-beta-release-1

We’re pleased to announce that a new version of Imunify360, version 5.9, is now available. Learn about more features in Imunify360.

Version 5.9 is more of a maintenance release and contains no major feature updates or crucial changes. However, it precedes the 6.0 release which will bring major feature updates. In brief, version 5.9 prepares your systems for the 6.0 release. The v.5.9 release includes the following features:

  • Gradual rollout for signatures releases
In this release an approach to signature release is rethinked in order to provide a smooth and flexible experience.

Gradual rollout for malware scanner signatures

We decided to introduce a gradual signature release process that will replace the current one. The purpose of this improvement is to control the process more tightly while monitoring it’s performance on each step of a rollout. This enhanced approach will allow us to avoid any possible complication, for example if false positive results will manifest this behaviour will be quickly pinpointed and corrected. All in all - if anything will go wrong during the process - from now on there is a mechanism in place to remedy it momentarily, then and there.

This feature will start functioning automatically out of the box. All of the changes will be done on our side and no further action from the customer side is needed.
