Release Notes: ImunifyAV(+) v.6.9

IMAV-major-release

We’re pleased to announce a new version of ImunifyAV(+). Version 6.9 is now available. Discover more features in Imunify360. The following features are new in the v6.9 release:

  • Ubuntu 22 support
Starting from the 6.9 version of our Imunify products we extended the supported OS list to include Ubuntu 22 operating system.

  • Expanding WHM Contact Manager integration
To continue offering the highest level of security awareness to our customers, we’re expanding notifications through WHM Contact Manager for potential security threats and other potential server problems.

Ubuntu 22 support

Starting from the Imunify360 version 6.9, we extended the list of supported operating systems to Ubuntu 22. Since Ubuntu 22 has proven to be stable and is becoming a popular choice, we want our customers to have an opportunity to utilize it in the environment as an OS compatible with ImunifyAV(+).

To install Imunify360 on Ubuntu 22, please follow the installation instructions in our documentation. The support currently extends to the Plesk as well as DirectAdmin. Standalone installation type available as well.

Expanding WHM Contact Manager integration

We’re adding two new types of security notifications for ImunifyAV(+) in this version. Now we will make sure that our customers are notified with a dedicated message whenever an external malware and/or a black redirect link was spotted on their web server. Please be on the lookout for the messages of the following format:

These messages, just as before, will be sent through WHM Contact Manager – a robust integration which gives us an opportunity to deliver up-to-date information on the security status of the web servers and offers guidelines to improve it.

If you’d like to receive such notifications at another email address or through another contact channel, you can change it in the WHM's Contact Manager.

We prepared a description for your reference on how to manage these security notifications for your convenience.
